TEACHING PLAN

The Indonesian educational system is more relaxed than the Philippine one, ideally when compared to what is taught at UPI. During the one-month observation and demonstration, there are similarities and differences you can identify. Same as the three components of education are defined as creating lesson plans (LP), materials for instruction (IMs), and performance assessments that are required in the Philippine education programs. Based on my observation, teachers at the Lab School of UPI seldom employ creative assessment tasks or resources, they don't create many lesson materials for the theories and lessons, as well as don't adhere to the traditional LP structure or flow. While are free to make their own unique teaching strategies in the class and even in bilingual classrooms, the Secondary Lab educators basically follow the principle of maintaining updates on students' progress and making sure that everyone can catch up at a comparable time. However, I was still learning and grasping insights about the learning styles, practices, activities, and regulations that the school is following. I’ve seen that there are more things that I must apply and look into for I will be practicing my teaching at this university.

The strategy that I used is the traditional way teaching, which the instructional materials that I used was cartolina, colorded papers, and markers in order for the important terms to be remembered. The setting is at the gymnasium that's why I used the cement wall as the board of my materials then I designed it with colored paper that will reveal the words if it is being open. I utilized both student and teacher-centered method, which allows students learn from my disscusion and execute the drills in the practical.
